As part of the RESCU Program, SVCW has ongoing work at the corner of Shoreway Road and Holly Street. A cooling tower has been put in operation to support tunneling activities, and the mist that may be seen discharging from the top of the cooling tower is potable (tap) water that has been used to cool electric motors on the tunneling equipment. The water runs in its own contained loop and does not come in direct contact with soil or with operating equipment.
