SVCW’s contractor partner, Shea Parsons Joint Venture (SPJV), continues to head towards completion of the construction work at the Front of Plant (FoP) site. Installation of a 2-inch asphalt concrete (AC) top coat over the entire FoP lot, which served as the final pavement layer, has been completed. This was followed by application of a striping layer to give order to the site for efficient traffic flow, designate parking, and provide safe access. This month, SPJV is working on miscellaneous site improvement activities, in addition to abandoning the existing 54″ force main which will no longer be used for conveying wastewater to the WWTP.
