Progressive Design-Build – Status of Selection Process
On November 9, 2017 the SVCW Commission approved a Design-Build agreement with JF Shea-Parsons Joint Venture team.
The project started with a Partnering Workshop on Nobember 15th to bring the Shea-Parsons team together with SVCW executives, engineering, operations, maintenance and various consultants to facilitate all parties working together smoothly with common goals.
Next steps include reviewing work that has been done to date, planning specific tasks for the next couple of months, and starting the collaborative process of designing the Front of Plant facilities. All parties will be co-located in temporary offices to work closely and efficently together.
